GEORGE SEAY, CFA is the Founder & Chairman of Annandale Capital. Prior to his time at Annandale, Mr. Seay both founded and served as CEO of Seay Stewardship & Investment Company, Annandale’s predecessor company. A licensed attorney at law in the state of Texas, he worked previously for Locke Purnell Rain Harrell as a commercial litigator. He also has public policy experience through his work for the Governor of Texas and the Deputy Secretary of State at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. In addition to Mr. Seay’s leadership at Annandale, he serves on numerous Boards, including Chairman of the Clements Center for National Security at the University of Texas at Austin, Chairman of the Texas – Israel Alliance, former Chairman and Member of the McCombs School of Business Advisory Council at UT Austin, and Trustee of the Southwestern Medical Foundation. He received his B.A. in History summa cum laude and his MBA with a Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence from the University of Texas at Austin, and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he was President of the SMU Law Review Association, a member of the Order of Barristers, and founder of the SMU Law Review Corporate Counsel Symposium, now in its 26th year.
CRAIG WENNING is the Chief Executive Officer of Annandale Capital. Prior to joining Annandale in 2009, Mr. Wenning served as the Senior Director of Operations of Watermark Community Church and was Vice President of Symmetry Capital Advisors, LLC, where he managed money for high net worth individuals and families. Prior to business school, Mr. Wenning held various management roles at the technology startup LifeMinders.com. His efforts culminated in helping take LifeMinders public on the NASDAQ. Previously, he worked in investment banking as an analyst at Friedman Billings Ramsey. Mr. Wenning also serves on a few boards including North Avenue Capital, Trinity Christian Academy, and as Chairman of Need Him Global. He was an Arjay Miller Scholar at Stanford University where he received his M.B.A. He also graduated from the Honors College of Clemson University with a B.S. in accounting where he was awarded the Norris Medal as the university’s most outstanding student.
RYAN HEMBREE is the Director of Operations and Chief Compliance Officer for Annandale Capital. He joined the firm in 2007 after graduating from Southern Methodist University with a BS in Finance. In 2012, Ryan successfully obtained his CFA® designation.
ELIJAH CUNNINGHAM currently serves as Annandale’s Director of Research. He joined Annandale as an Analyst in 2009. Mr. Cunningham received his BA in Economics from Hendrix College in 2007 and MA in Applied Economics from Southern Methodist University in 2008.
WILL CHANEY joined Annandale Capital in 2012 and serves as Vice President of Client Service. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish in 2010. Will is currently working towards the CFP® certification.
